We'd just made a long-range jump to Beagle Point, following in the footsteps of the ill-fated Jacques Station, when we picked up some strange interference. It was like nothing we'd ever heard before. After rapid evaluation, Captain Marz concluded we were being probed by an AI and there was very little we could do about it.

It seems that Wintermute001 has infiltrated the White Star. At the moment, resistance would appear to be futile...
